Bahrain to hold 3rd annual Food & Hospitality Expo in February 2011

Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) will hold the 3rd Annual Food & Hospitality Expo, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s largest gathering of food, beverage and hospitality industry professionals, at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC) from 8th to 10th February 2011.

BECA’s Food & Hospitality Expo has launched new products and product enhancements since it debuted in January 2009. The event has the support of Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry & Commerce and is part of the events portfolio of BECA which functions under the stewardship of H.E. Dr. Hassan A. Fakhro, The Minister of Industry & Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain, and Chairman of the Board of BECA.

Dedicated to the food, beverage and packing technology industries, Food & Hospitality Expo 2011 will bring together an international audience of buyers, retailers, distributors, food and beverage (F&B) professionals and the relevant media providing an ideal opportunity to facilitate deals between buyers and sellers, importers and exporters worldwide.

Bahrain is an ideal setting for Food & Hospitality Expo 2011 due to its central proximity to the Northern Gulf states of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, says Mr. Hassan Jaffer Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA) adding that “The Food and Hospitality Expo is a key event in Bahrain's calendar and offers an opportunity for the Kingdom to show case its ideal position as a key influencer for the Gulf Region in food and hospitality.
