Bahrain opens the 2nd Health and Wellness Expo tomorrow

The 2nd annual Health and Wellness Expo organized by Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority opens tomorrow, 17th April 2012, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre after a successful launch last year.    

The event, with the support given by the Leadership is organized by Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, which operates under Ministry of Industry & Commerce under the stewardship of H.E. Dr. Hassan A. Fakhro, the Minister of Industry & Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain, and Chairman of the Board of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority.  The exhibition will be held under the patronage of H. E. Mr. Sadiq Bin Abdul Karim Al Shehabi, Minister of Health, with support from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Tamkeen (Labour Fund) as Strategic Partner and Ministry of Health. 

The Health and Wellness Expo is an innovative exhibition created with the aim to promote awareness of the importance of living a healthy lifestyle as well as provide a strategic platform for participating exhibitors including hospitals, health centres and companies, professionals and other stakeholders in the health care sector and an opportunity to network and meet with specialists in this important industry in the region.

The Authority’s 2nd annual Health & Wellness Expo aims to provide a venue for business-to-business meetings for industry professional exhibitors to achieve maximum exposure for their brands, gain networking opportunities, increased interest in health related products, generate new leads and increase revenue sources.  This year’s edition of the Health and Wellness Expo include participation from major hospitals, pharmacies and variety of health and wellness outlets showcasing a vast display of health care products and services, free workshops and seminars concerning health and wellness-related topics, free medical check-up as well as try-out of fitness equipments, beauty treatments, live demos, and discounted memberships fees upon registration with fitness clubs.

The Health & Wellness Expo will be held simultaneously with Food and Hospitality Expo with media sponsorships from Woman Magazine, Signature Bahrain, National Photo Services and National Images. The Expo will be held from 17 - 19 April 2012, 10am – 6pm at Hall 2, Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
